How do I open an account?

What documents do I need for KYC?
A valid Chinese ID card or passport, plus a live selfie. Business accounts add director ID and a company registration document.
Can I have more than one account?
No — one member, one account. Multiple accounts violate our terms and may forfeit balances / referral rewards.
How do I close my account?
From your dashboard settings, or by emailing support@transcurrex.com. All open trades must settle first.
How fast is settlement?
Most exchanges settle within minutes once your funds are confirmed. Larger or international transfers may take a little longer, and we always tell you the expected time upfront.
Which currencies and coins do you support?
Major fiat including USD, GBP, EUR, CAD, AED, JPY and more, plus BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC — all traded against the Renminbi. See the full rate board.
Are the rates on the board what I actually get?
Yes. The buy/sell rates you see are our live desk rates. You confirm the exact figure before the trade — what you agree is what you get.
What's a "rate lock"?
When you get a quote, the desk holds that rate for a stated window (typically 60–300s). Confirm inside the window and that's your price, no matter what the market does next.
Can I schedule a trade for later?
Yes — set a rate alert on any pair. When the market hits your target, we ping you to confirm. Free with any account.
How do I track an order?
Every order gets a reference. Paste it into the tracker to see status, timing and receipts.
What are your fees?
Our margin is built into the buy/sell rate (the "spread"). There are no hidden account, deposit or withdrawal fees for standard exchanges. See the fees page for details.
How does your spread compare to a bank?
On major fiat pairs (USD, EUR, GBP) we run around 1.8%, well inside the 3–4.5% typical bank spread. On crypto it's tighter — usually 1.5% or better on USDT, BTC, ETH.
Are there fees for international transfers?
Any wire or network fee is shown before you confirm — no correspondent-bank surprises. Some corridors are effectively free at the network level.
Do businesses get better pricing?
Yes — tiered spreads based on monthly volume. Talk to sales via the corporate desk.
What is P2P and how does it work?
Peer-to-peer trading: you match with another verified member, escrow locks the assets, they pay you off-platform, you release. Read the marketplace.
How is P2P kept safe?
Escrow on every trade, KYC-verified counterparties, on-platform chat for evidence, dispute review by our desk. Keep everything on-platform — off-platform payments aren't covered.
What if my counterparty doesn't pay?
Wait out the 15-minute window, then raise a dispute inside the trade. Escrow freezes automatically and our team reviews the on-platform chat as evidence.
Can I post my own offer?
Yes — set your side (buy or sell), asset, price, limits, payment methods and terms. Post from your P2P dashboard.
Is my money and data safe?
Accounts are KYC-verified, data is encrypted at rest and in transit, funds move through a controlled settlement process. Passwords are hashed with a modern algorithm and never stored in plain text. See full controls →
Do you offer 2FA?
Yes — TOTP-based two-factor authentication on all accounts. Strongly recommended for anyone trading over ¥10,000.
What if my account is compromised?
Call the 24/7 fraud line on +86 400 000 0000 or email support@transcurrex.com. We freeze first and investigate second.
How do you protect crypto reserves?
Dual-control multi-sig cold storage. Hot wallets hold only what's needed for the current settlement window.
Do you handle overseas tax refunds?
Yes — VAT / sales-tax refunds on your overseas shopping, paid to you in Renminbi. See the refund page →
How long until my refund lands?
Typically 3–8 weeks from the customs stamp. Fast-track for corporate accounts is 10–15 business days.
What if I forgot the customs stamp?
The stamp is legally required — without it, refund networks can't process the claim. Some airports have late-stamp options — email the desk with your flight details.

Do you have an API?
Yes — REST endpoints for quotes, orders and status, plus signed webhooks. Sandbox available on request via the API contact form.
Can you do batch payouts?
Yes — CSV upload for supplier or payroll batches. Beneficiary vaults keep repeat destinations one-click.
Can I book a forward rate?
Yes — RMB/USD, RMB/EUR and RMB/GBP forward booking against future obligations. Talk to treasury.
