By opening an account or exchanging with us, you agree to these terms. Read them once — we've kept them short.
1. Who we are
TCE provides currency and digital-asset exchange, cross-border transfer, peer-to-peer marketplace and related services to verified users. Rates shown on the desk board are indicative and confirmed at settlement. We operate under applicable Chinese financial regulations and cooperate with lawful regulator requests.
2. Your account
Provide accurate information and complete identity verification (KYC / KYB where applicable). You are responsible for keeping your login secure — including your password, one-time codes and any API keys. You must be legally an adult in your jurisdiction. Business accounts require documented director authority.
3. Exchanges & escrow
A quoted rate is held only for the stated window (typically 60 – 300 seconds depending on product). Funds are held in escrow and released when the exchange is delivered and confirmed by both sides. We may decline, hold or reverse a trade where we suspect fraud, error, sanctions exposure, or breach of law. Fiat settlements are same-day within desk hours; crypto settlements are on-chain and subject to network confirmation times.
4. P2P marketplace
P2P trades are between users, mediated by TCE escrow. You are responsible for the accuracy of your offer terms and the correctness of your bank / wallet details. Disputes are reviewed by our desk based on on-platform evidence — off-platform chat, calls or payments are not considered. Malicious disputes may result in account restrictions.
5. Fees
Our margin is included in the buy / sell rate you see. Any additional fee (e.g. network gas for crypto, wire fees on international transfers) is shown before you confirm. There are no last-second surprise fees. Corporate pricing is contract-based.
6. Risk
Digital assets and foreign currencies are volatile — their value can go down as well as up. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Nothing on the platform is investment advice. Only trade what you can afford to lose. Cross-border transfers may be affected by beneficiary-bank or regulatory holds outside our control.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use TCE for money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, sanctions evasion, market manipulation, or any unlawful purpose. You may not create multiple accounts to abuse referral, tier or promotional benefits. You may not scrape, reverse-engineer or overload our systems.
8. Data & privacy
How we collect, use and protect your data is described in our Privacy Policy. You may request access, correction or deletion of your data at any time — subject to regulatory retention rules for financial records.
9. Intellectual property
The TCE name, logo, site design and software are our property. You get a limited licence to use the platform for its intended purpose. Do not copy, resell or misrepresent the service.
10. Liability
We are liable for losses caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct. We are not liable for market losses, off-platform scams, beneficiary-bank delays, or events outside our reasonable control (network outages, force majeure). Our aggregate liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
You may close your account at any time — assuming all trades are settled and any regulatory hold has cleared. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these terms, suspected fraud, regulator direction or prolonged inactivity.
12. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified via email and dashboard banner at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means acceptance. Historical versions are kept for reference on request.
13. Law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and failing that, in the courts of the jurisdiction of our registered office. Consumer-protection rights in your home jurisdiction are not diminished.
